King pin size’s and what fit’s
After talking with a costumer, I have realized something
keeps coming up. The difference in size’s to make a mass market there are
several different size’s made out there on king pin bolts. Your stander grade 8
bolt can vary in size most of them are a thousand under or over depending on
who made them or not. When it comes to precision trucks the kingpins are over sized
unless there using aircraft bolts on the trucks. Custom made precision trucks
make their own kingpins and make them over sized because there is less chances
of breakage and fit. So why don’t you make an over sized washer? First of all it
is a waste of money and that just is going to confuse the mass amount of
costumers even more than you will understand. I designed these sleeved washers
for cast trucks in the beginning and yes then precision trucks came out with
their own washers to supply there trucks. But yes you can fit our washer on the
top threaded part on precision truck kingpins only, that’s because the threads
are a thousand smaller on the overall sized custom made kingpins. What I didn’t
want is to have a bunch of different sized washer out there that will not fit
and slop around like they did in the past. So remember that precision washer fit cast
trucks and aircraft bolts only and that most precision trucks will only fit on
the top washer.
